Fertilizer registration certificate is valid for five years. If it is necessary to continue producing and selling the products after the expiry of the validity period, an application for renewal of registration shall be filed six months prior to the expiry of the validity period. The renewal is valid for five years.

Where no application for renewal registration is filed 90 days before the expiration of validity, the registration shall be deemed to be automatically revoked.

For renewal of registration, the following documents shall be provided (if the foreign language information is submitted by the overseas applicant, it shall be translated into Chinese at the same time):

1. Domestic applicants shall submit the copy of enterprise registration certificates marked with unified social credit code (affixed with corporate seal)

2. Annual product quality report: the product quality test report of at least 2 batches each year within the validity period shall be submitted. At the same time, it is also necessary to submit the quality management, quality certification, supervision and spot check within the validity period of the product registration certificate.

3. The use of the product in the period of validity: use area, applied crops, application effect and main promotion areas, etc. 

       4. Assessment form of production enterprises: the domestic applicant shall also submit the assessment form of production enterprises issued by the local provincial agricultural and rural departments.
